an unfinished track but near enough that it's worth putting out. just came out of picking up loads of nice jazzstep samples and some tight breaks. don't know why i used krome & time's license as the inspiration for it - the vocal snippets work quite nicely. needs a lot of work. tho. |

my first production for over a year, this one came about when i stumbled across a bunch of acapellas on the internet. from the first time i heard the erykah badu original, i wanted to do a remix, originally with some uk garage vibes in my head. but by the time i discovered the essential acapella, i was into the soulful dnb thing and that's the way it's come out. this isn't actually a finished track as i'd like to do a hell of a lot more to it from a musical perspective. but i've left it so long i can't just not put it up here. if anyone wants a hand in finishing this, lemme know. |

this track was written during september of 2000 and was my first legitimate dnb track i spose. it's the result of listening to a bunch of excellent cds bought in ibiza and various other influences i took from artists i had listened to on the internet, mainly through dnbscene.com. there's a deep bassline in there so if you're using a naff pair of headphones, you won't get the full experience of this track. |

originally my entry for the 'nightmarez hardcore compilation 2000', an online compilation which sought to act as a showcase for the freshest hardcore tunes made with tracker software. it's my homage to the oldskool hardcore sound and sounds like a cross between the moondance genres of oldskool, happycore and drum n bass. probably the darkest track here. |
